Subject Overview
Geography at SSWL strives to stimulate an interest in and sense of wonder about places, people and their interactions. The learning opportunities we create try to help young people make sense of a complex and dynamically changing world. We look to explain where places are, how places and landscapes are formed, how people and their environment interact, and how a diverse range of economies, societies and environments are interconnected. We aim to build upon students’ own experiences and allow for opportunities to investigate places at all scales, from the personal to the global.
